About Timberlina
Timberlina is the character driven alter-ego of Queer Artist & Permaculturalist Tim Redfern. Tim has worked in a variety of roles across the heritage and creative sectors nationally and internationally for 25 years. 'Excellent' - Sir Ian McKellen Their work explores narratives around Queer identity, environmentalism, social history and community spirit Their thoughtful, irreverent and seemlessly shambolic organised chaos makes for hilarious and empathic events that challenge the status quo of the daily contradictions we are forced to endure- as comfortable in a corporate context as an intimate spit and sawdust cabaret. 'Satirises hipster concerns' -The Guardian Tim's work is original, informative and hilarious, playfully disrupting the daily routine while engaging and disarming audiences of all ages and all types of venue- from domestic kitchens to landmark institutions. 'Timberlina does it all, sings, swings and serves some truth' - Broadway World |
